BOYS & GIRLS AGES 10 to 18.

The mission of the Drumline is to make a positive difference in the lives of its members by providing unique musical experiences and performances, and to assist them in achieving the highest standards of professionalism through the development of skill, confidence, cooperation, leadership, responsibility and character.  To accomplish our mission, we will -

  • Strive for the highest standards of excellence in everything we do both on and off the field – being physical representations of a first class performing arts organization.

  • Take responsibility for our own preparedness (including attendance, punctuality and etiquette) and take additional responsibility for helping our sisters reach the same goals.

  • Develop and continually strengthen self-discipline and focus both in and out of rehearsals by working daily to enhance my individual skills and the overall quality of the ensemble.

  • Approach everything we do with energy and excitement, treating every encounter as if it were the performance of a lifetime.

The Drumlines currently only exist in New Jersey, but welcomes anyone who is willing to make the commute to Rahway.  The Lines are separated by skill (beginners, advanced, boys).  Participants will need to purchase 12" drum pads and a set of drum sticks from our designated vendor - an outlay of about $40.

The video pays homage to our drum corps sisters and brothers who demonstrate their love of music and drumming through involvement on school and community drum lines.  These are not performances by the SoulDeevas and we do not own the rights to any music included therein.
